Ruptured Globe Repair

Ruptured globes due to trauma are sight threatening injuries. Dr. Carroll and her team will remove the damaged globe and fully reconstruct the eye region, including the boney structure surrounding the eye and the placement of a prosthetic eye, if necessary. In cases when the sinus cavity are involved or any portion of the neurological system, Dr. Carroll will work with a neurologist and/or other appropriate specialists in order to provide complete treatment of injury.
